Every special baby needs a carriage cover, bed cover or just a favorite blankie.
Some of my carriage covers and bed covers are worked with bedspread cotton in my own designs or from a filet crochet pattern worked from a chart. Some are done in broomstick lace and many of my baby blankets incorporate pineapple or Victorian touches for a heritage look. All are washable and skin friendly.

This ecru shaded Victorian crib cover was inspired by an Amish carriage cover seen in PA. The Amish prefer ecru over white in their baby and Christening items. I love the old world look, so I am often inspired to work ecru thread lace. This piece is filet crochet in the center, bordered by a 5″ wide thread lace panel of shells and picots. Size of this crib cover is 44″ x 29″ Made from American DMC Cotton. Delicate cycle or hand wash, shape and dry flat.

My love of all things green and the need for a sturdy carriage cover inspired this Lime Sherbert creation. It is made from Red Heart Orlon Acrylic and is easy care.

This soft cover is created by combining hairpin strips with broomstick lace and a generous 3″ wide shell border with picot accents. Soft shades of blue, pink and yellow are featured on the mostly white background. This pretty bed cover measures a generous 60 x 28″ and is made from Bernat Softee Baby Acrylic/Nylon blend. Machine wash and dry warm and delicate.

This light and delicate coverlet is created from broomstick lace done over a regular broomstick, as well as smaller ones to create a lacy peacock pattern in soft canary colors. the material is Bellina Italian Acrylic. Hand wash recommended.
